Defining a Command Line Manual Abort Operation Rule

This procedure describes how to define a Command Line manual abort operation rule to your Execution operation, which enables you to define an operation to stop the job manually.

If you want to remove all content from the step or delete the step, from the Manual abort operation operation step, click and select the option you require.

Begin

  1. From the Execution operation step, click and then click Manual abort operation.

  2. In the Type field ensure that you select Command Line.

  3. In the Command Line field, type the command line script for the operation.
  4. Add a parameter by clicking and select one of the following:
    • A previously defined parameter from the list.

    • A new parameter, by selecting Create Parameter and then click one of the following:

      • In Job form

      • In Connection Profile

      The Add Parameters window appears and type the parameters, as described in General Parameters.

  5. If you want to attach content to job output do any of the following:

    • Attach command line details to the Control-M job output, select Append command to job output checkbox.

    • Attach standard output to Control-M job output, select the Append command to job output checkbox.

    You can job change job output content for your job type, from the toolbar by clicking Job Output Options.
