Defining a Parameter for REST API

This procedure describes how to add a parameter for REST API operation step.

Begin

1. Add a value to the parameters by doing one of the following:

• Click and select one of the following:

  • A previously defined parameter from the list

  • A new parameter by selecting Create Parameter and then click one of the following:

    In jobform

    In connection profile

    The Add Parameter window appears and type the General parameters, as described in General Parameterss.

  After defining a value, the parameter may appear in the Designer area. For more information, see Job Type Designer.

• To see which parameters are used and their values, click .

  The Insert Parameter window appears and do the following:

• 1. In the Key and Value fields, add parameters by clicking as described above.

  2. Add the parameter by clicking .

  3. Click Generate.
