Execution Log

After you have deployed your job type and configured Control-M, you can start defining jobs in Control-M. After you have run your job, you can monitor its progress in Active Jobs in the Monitoring domain. For more information about the Monitoring domain, see Monitoring.

In Active Jobs, you can view the execution log which helps to identify any potential problems when running jobs, which enables you to see whether the problem relates to the job or the Application Integrator. The Execution log window is split as follows:

• Job Details: Displays the Job Type details, such as Job Name, Job Type.

• Log Details: Displays information about the job type.

  You can view detailed information about each step in the Job Type and Export the log to a file.
