Logging in to Application Integrator

To start creating your job type, you need to open the Application Integrator web designer. This procedure describes how to log in to Application Integrator web designer.

Before you begin

• Ensure that the Application Integrator plugin is installed as described in Plug-ins

• Ensure that the Application Integrator is configured as described in Application Integrator Configuration.

Begin

1. Do one of the following:

   • From the main toolbar at the top of the window, click Tools and then select Application Integrator.

   • Type the Application Integrator URL in the browser address bar, for example:

     https://<host>:8443/ApplicationIntegrator

     If you were already logged in to Control-M, the Application Integrator web designer opens. If not, a login screen appears and you must fill in the username and password and then click Sign In.

     NOTE: In the field, the Application Integrator displays the name of the GUI Server. If there are multiple GUI Servers and you want to connect to a different server, you need to create cfg file, as described in Creating a Communication Configuration File.

   When logging in for the first time, an Introduction Tour about the Application Integrator opens automatically.
